Shrimp should not be ignored because their tender and juicy meat is very good for health, but also for diets. I am their No. 1 fan and I try to cook them in as many ways as possible.
Today we have an easy and delicious recipe on the menu.
- 400 g durum wheat spaghetti
- 600 g cleaned shrimp
- 1 red kapia pepper
- 1 red hot pepper
- 5 cloves of garlic crushed with a knife blade and chopped
- 150 ml dry white wine
- lemon juice
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Spaghetti with shrimp:
In a large frying pan, heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil and lightly heat the garlic over low heat. Add the diced kapia pepper, hot pepper (without seeds), chopped parsley and mix. Increase the flame on the stove and pour the white wine; let it boil for 2-3 minutes and then put the cleaned shrimp. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until it becomes opaque.
Season with salt and pepper, lemon juice and close.
Put the boiled spaghetti al dente in the pan over the shrimp, sprinkle with a little olive oil and mix lightly.
How I cleaned shrimp:
I took a shrimp and with the help of my fingers I removed the head by twisting and pulling. The shell with all the legs came off very easily from the body and I left the tail intact.
On the back of the shrimp I made a long incision with a sharp knife and removed the rest of the digestive tract which looks like a black thread.
